Education
Our classes and activities are open to everyone and aim to create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive space where people feel comfortable to learn, share, and participate.
At WCEC, we believe education should be relevant, accessible, and meaningful for all. Our programs support adults to build confidence, develop new skills, and reconnect with learning in a supportive community environment.
Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) classes help learners build confidence in reading, writing, and everyday conversation. We also offer beginner-friendly digital skills classes, helping learners feel comfortable using computers and smartphones.
All of our classes focus on practical skills that help support learners in everyday life, stay connected with family and friends, and access information and services online.
Learning at WCEC is about more than gaining knowledge. It is also about making connections, sharing experiences, and building a sense of belonging.
All new students are invited to make an appointment and attend a short interview so we can understand their learning goals and help place them in a class that best suits their needs.
