Choosing the Right Course for You
Choosing the right course is important for developing confidence and effective learning. Therefore, it is very important to start at the right level for you so you will feel comfortable and enjoy learning. If you are unsure or would like more information please contact our friendly staff who will assist you in choosing the right course.
Course Fees and Enrolment Procedures
Enrolments can only be taken upon payment of a $50 deposit. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, EFT and Credit. Course fees are variable and outline in the program brochure. Concession rates apply to students with an eligible concession card. Refunds are provided in accordance with the Centre’s policies.
Note: Government subsidised and concession course fees only apply to self funded individuals who meet citizenship / residency criteria. Individuals who do not meet this criteria and Organisations providing funding (even indirectly) are not eligible for these reduced rates and must pay the FULL FEE.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program (LLNP).
The Language, Literacy and Numeracy Program is available for people who are receiving Centrelink benefits and need to improve their written and spoken English to gain employment. The program is funded through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and is free to participants. If you are interested in joining this program please visit your local Centrelink or contact Lynne at Williamstown Community and Education Centre on 9397 6168 or e-mail admin@wcec.com.au .

Do you want to learn English? Would you like to improve your reading and writing? Williamstown Cummunity and Education Centre runs classes from many venues throughtout Hobsons Bay at a very low cost.
Course or Class Ideas
We are always interested in offering new courses and classes, so if you have an idea for a course or wish to teach a class please contact the Williamstown Centre or Spotswood. Hire is also available for tutors wishing to run their own classes.
Venue Hire
Both Williamstown and Spotswood have rooms available for hire for functions, parties, meetings etc. at very reasonable rates. We offer community rates for not-for-profit groups and activities. Corporate rates apply to all businesses. If you are interested in hiring one of our venues, please feel free to drop in to see if our venue is the right one for you.
Committee of Management
Williamstown Community and Education Centre and Spotswood Community House are managed by an elected Committee of Management. The Committee meets monthly to discuss all issues related to the community and works hard to ensure that the objectives are achieved. New members are always welcome.
