Learn to Sew ~ Beginners to Intermediate

Always wanted to learn how to sew?  Join our class and learn sewing techniques to create beautiful garments, do garment repairs and alterations, and make soft furnishings.  Sewing machines and overlockers provided or bring your own and learn how to use it.

ESL Knitting & Crocheting

Learn new knitting and crocheting skills and practise your conversation in a friendly atmosphere.

Pilates ~ 2 Session times *

Pilates works on core body strength, balance, coordination and controlled movement.  Pilates stabilizes the abdominal muscles, providing support for the lower back and improving posture.

Gentle Yoga and Meditation  *

Restorative Yoga for body, breath and mind with Deb Robertson.  This gentler class links breath with movement, includes reflect and relax and is suitable for all stages and ages.  Individual guidance and modifications are offered; each student is encouraged to practice in a way that respects their needs.

Painting / Folk Art  *

Bring out your creative side with this beautiful art or paint a canvas to your liking.  Come and learn all techniques.  Beginners and experienced students most welcome.

Independent Living Skills  #

Morning is literacy and numeracy required for every day living.  The afternoon is fun with art and craft.

Bring your own lunch.

Wakety Pals Drama #

Activities and drama for adults with an intellectual disability.

Thai Cooking Workshop

Learn to cook authentic Thai cuisine.  3 – 4 dishes will be prepared from the following selection:
Green or red curry chicken, Tom Yum prawns, Larb (minced chicken salad with fish sauce, lemon and herbs), Thai beef salad, Stir fry chicken with basil or with cashews, Green papaya salad.
This is a hands on workshop so please BYO knives, chopping board and apron.

ArTime for Kids

For 8 to 12 year olds  -  Maximum 10 children per session.

This program focuses on exploring, discovering and learning art through painting, drawing and sculpture.  Art that is fun, relaxing, inspiring and works towards building confidence and self-esteem.
